Always lasts longer than forever

When I find you/ and you find me/ will both find love/ immediately/ Destiny is real/ your fate is tied to mine/ Just let me love you like I’m going to love you/ and your heart will be just fine/ It’s easy to find/ a person who’s appealing/ It’s hard to find the two complete things/ A beautiful person/ both inside and out/ When you find me tho/ In your heart you shall carry no doubt/ What love means to me may be different to you/ So I’ll have to say I’m sorry/ but my search will have to continue/ I want the meaning of love to be shared/ I want to know when I need you/ You’ll be there/ that you care/ that my love is truly rare/ I want you to know/ you can always count on me/I’m here for your soul/ To love your entire being/ I’m seeing life and love/ in a whole new light/ Love doesn’t have an overcast/ Love is radiant/ Love is bright/ Love is what guides our way through life/ Love is what sees us through the day/ from morning to night/ I can say/ that I’m a corny romantic comedy kinda guy/ I’m trying to be confident now/ as I’ve always been shy/ So pardon me/ while I pay you a compliment/ Mine are free/ and a unlimited supply when you get me/ you’ll get them From the moment we start to speak in a romantic fashion/ I have a love for wordplay/ It’s truly my passion/ When our souls collide/ our bodies will be crashin’/Into one and other/ There’s no avoiding a fated accident/ I believe when you let love crash into you/ It’s god sent/ You’ll find love from a heart/ that beats just for you/ Is love true/ or is love a lie/ Peer into my eyes/ say I love you/ and you’ll never wonder why/ The little things in love/ are the foundation for always/ The little things in love/ Although light/ tend to carry the most weight/ So allow me to be me/ and you’ll always have love/ I’m not talking a fairytale/ I’m talking a love/ form which dreams are made of/ So open your eyes/ allow my love to make your dreams come true/ Because I can’t think of a better couple/ than both me and you

About this poem

It’s too my first real love of my life. The lady who wants my love more than a new car or grand gesture’s. The little things are what carry the most weight yet make us feel like we’re floating on cloud nine.
