Desiring to Be With You

Desiring To Be With You
By Nancy Rodriquez

I would move mountains aside,
and I would take down the stars in the Galaxy,
there is one specific reason why,
wherever you are, I want to be,
There is no shame in loving you from afar,
in the life you have made for yourself now,
I want to be able to look into your eyes,
and reconnect somehow,
Though the dreams we made have taken a back seat,
You have qualities buried deep,
and I would like to bring them out of you again,
to see the beautiful smile you possess,
while we overcome the pain,
it would be wonderful to be blessed,
While others advise me to stay away,
they do not see what is inside my heart,
and what I go through from day to day,
while experiencing every emotion,
I still carry this deep devotion,
desiring to be with you.
