Him

He didnt care about us or her, he cared about the gambling money to be made and all the trips to Rockhall every friday. Scratching scratch offs and buying lottery tickets, Ima hit it big one day he would say, I just need that one ticket. She wanted these kids, shell do all the providing, soccer games, caring and driving. Ill try to make it to the game from Rockhall on Friday. Why cant I remember anything below grade two, Im really scared it cant be true. That the big bad wolf has always been you. Is it the gambling or the cheating causing the static, Or could it just be she married an addict. Hed come home covered in hickies and laughed in her face and said You know I love you and those kids with all my heart. Thats when her world blew apart. She struggled but made it happen She worked two and three jobs to take care of the three. He swung in from time to time to take a shower to bowl on thursdays, or beg for money. Six years big brother picked up the slack, tried to teach her what a man was sappose to be. He taught her how to fish, pump gas, tie her shoes and drive a stick. Anything he could teach he would. Most of all he tried to teach her that not all men were dicks, but he did teach what he could. Since he was standing where her daddy should. She loved her brother for all he tried to do but it wasnt enough, She was still left with with daddy issues. For all she knew, daddies leave with their girlfriends or hoes rather. F*ck that your name is Jim, Im to ashamed to call you my father. James my daddy he was always there, He anwsered when I called he was the only man that cared. Then I saw Michael again and the sparks flew, the rest is up to you.
