DIVINITY

Sana Meer 2000 (Burewala)

As I walk upon the roof in evening
I inhale the sweetness of nature's delight.
A cleansing breath, to purify my soul,
And release the stress that takes its toll.

The vastness of the sky, a beautiful sight,
As birds fly home, so free, so light.
Unburdened, they soar between earth and sky,
So close to God, so close to nature, they fly.

And as I watch, a wish arises within,
To be a bird, to have freedom, to begin
To leave behind the burdens of human flaws,
And soar above, beyond life's restrictive laws.

But then the Adhaan calls me back to earth,
A voice that beckons, a way to find rebirth.
For though I am not a bird, with wings to fly,
I am human, with a soul that can touch the sky.

My forehead touching the earth, a reunion so divine,
A moment of peace, a moment to align.
With nature, with God, with all that is true,
This moment of grace, a gift to renew.
