Rise in Love

Amidst the world, love abounds
People falling, all around
Again and again, they take the fall
But can't they rise, standing tall?

To fall in love, takes great courage
To open up, and let love flourish
With the world, with the divine
With ourselves, and all of mankind.

And in this journey, I have found
The answer to the question, profound
How can we rise, in love so true
Without first falling, in all we do?

To be complete, we must pay the price
Of shattering into countless pieces, thrice
But through the fire, we will be refined
Into precious gold, so pure and divine.

And with this strength, we rise above
To shine in love, so bright, so tough
For we know, with every rise,
We must first fall, to reach the skies.
