THRIST

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Speaking riddles in a forked foreign tongue, words will soon become undone. I have a thirst that I can no longer quench. So many things are becoming lost in translation as I shed my skin like a snake inside the sun. I slowly start to shake because I am no longer cold why is it this thirst with no flavor I need to hold?

I am as dry as the desert sand, trying to find my location to make a plan to find those whispers that no longer linger inside my head. There are so many truths to be seen if only I can find some ocean to quench their dying thirst that was once filled with lies.

I am looking for this thirst that is me wanting what it is that will quench it, but when I look inside the wishing well, it used to be into another world I would fall into, but now I know of the fountain that will quench my call
