So hear i am (1996)

So, here i am
it comes down to this
a thought, a feeling, a word
from which i'll either benefit
or starve
hungry for the love i have tasted
from the sweetest well i have ever
drank from
its waters, pure and clean
its taste, smooth and sweet
so much, that when i drank from it
it evoked such a feeling inside me
it can never be replaced or imitated
my thoughts, scattered
my heart, in disarray
my face, flushed
because my blood is boiling from the
warmth i feel inside
she is a gift i treasure
and always will
thankful of, terribly missed
because I will never know a love like
the love I knew with her...
