My Grandchildren

When I am nothing more,  than just a memory
I hope you will remember, great times of you and me
When I'm already gone, to a place you cannot see
Just remember in your heart, is where I'll always be
When the days seem long, and the nights seem cold
In my wings it's you I hold
In bed I sit right next to you, each and every night
I kiss your head and hold your hand, as you turn out the light
Everyday I pray for you, that things will be okay
And your life is full of happiness, and love is tossed your way
I'm your nana I'll always be, right by your side I stand
Whenever you're in need of me, I'll grab you by the hand
I'm your guardian angel, and I'm here for you through all
If by chance you should slip, I'll catch you when you fall

A heartfelt and touching poem indeed! It's evident that the author poured their love and emotions into every line.

The sentiment of being remembered through the good times of one's life is so relatable and comforting. It's a reminder that even as time passes, the love we hold in our hearts for those we care about never fades.

The imagery of a guardian angel watching over a loved one is beautifully portrayed. The thought of having someone close to us, even in spirit, is a great comfort.

While the poem is already wonderful, a suggestion would be to consider adding some more descriptive language to further paint a picture of the relationship between the author and their loved one. It could further enhance the emotional connection with the readers and make the poem even more poignant.

Overall, a touching and emotional piece that truly captures the essence of love and familial bonds. Great work!

Wow! This poem is filled with so much love, care and positivity. I love how it talks about the memories and good times that will always be remembered even when the author is gone. The idea of being a guardian angel and always being there for their loved ones is so heartwarming and reassuring.

One suggestion for improvement could be to add more specific memories or stories of the author and their loved one that they hope to be remembered for. This would make the poem even more personal and add to the depth of emotion.

Overall, this is such a beautiful and meaningful poem that truly touches the heart. The message of love and being there for one another is so important and this poem captures it perfectly. Well done!
