Creative Heroics

Too many of us do our best to live up,
To those creative heroics.
With role plays attempted.
And...
Disappointments pretended not to face.

A pretentiousness imitated,
Leaves no exit to escape from what's faked.
Especially if permitted to cement from birth,
The value and worth it is to feel...
Accepted among the many,
Who also are aware and know...
Whatever this is to experience called life,
Has already passed the potential test...
When many of us after birth began to notice,
Time to waste complaining about B.S.
Is what everyone does,
For more attention to get.
While being spoiled by temptations teased,
Without it first taught to become aware...
As to who holds the keys held to allow,
Those doors of opportunity to open.
And how the kissing of butt,
Is done at one's benefit.

'So,
What has that got to do with creative heroics?'

I was told many years ago,
A doing not to like done to do...
Is seldom not that far disconnected,
From a dream wished to want.
Yet comes packaged to disguise,
How it is earned to make come true!

'That for you maybe true.
But, as for me,
I am not doing anything that is against...
My religious or political affiliations.
My credibility and status to have achieved.
Or dignity obtained with kept integrity.'

What about your ability to survive thrive,
On hypocrisy.

'I was told many years ago,
That tool to use will always be a benefit...
To my success if kept prioritized.'

But...
Aren't you curious you may be perceived,
A deceiver?

'No.
Not at all.
There is nothing heroic done by anyone,
Without first perceiving to believe...
A little bit of self deception,
Is a benefit to later deny its advantages.'

That makes no sense.

'I thought so too.
However...
I have learned long ago,
To stop arguing with the teachers.
Who were paid to lie about the facts of life.
True or not to fiction and deceive.
Without nourishing to flourish my mentality.
And...
They were right!

Since...
No one yet has offered me,
Millions of dollars to remain opinionated.
With an intelligent kept point of view ignored.
This can prove embarrassing,
When in debate with others...
Who neither can read nor write.
Yet hold positions making decisions,
As to how my life will be lived.
And they live in guarded gated communities.
Driving expensive cars.'

That kind of status to have it is just for show!

'And that sense to make is none.
Yet the doing of it works to impress.
Successfully.'
