Rapunzel
Akinwale David Akinkunmi 1995 (Benue)
I call her Rapunzel, though her hair is short and neat,
For her beauty is much more than her hair, a treat.
She has a smile that can light up a darkened room,
And a heart that's pure and full of love, like a blooming bloom.
Her hair may not be long, but her spirit is strong,
And her love never falters, never goes wrong.
She's my rock, my support, and my guiding light,
She helps me through my struggles, and holds me tight.
She may not be a princess in a tower so high,
But she's the queen of my heart, and that's no lie.
I call her Rapunzel, for she's my fairytale dream,
And with her by my side, life is a beautiful, wonderful theme.
