Weather

We talk about it too much
Rain and wind and chills
And such.
If sun comes out
We cheer, guessing
Gorgeous spring is near.
In elevators we bring
It up as we are going up.
It governs baseball
In the park.
It’s what  gives class
To Noah’s Ark.
It humbles, yes
It humbles each and
Every one
Who thinks he has
Some CLOUT
For sun or warm or
Saving picnic
At the last
Such boasts are past.
With God so vast.
