Focus Change

I have this bad lower back.
Hurts all day long.
Must govern my activities
And spontaneity of movement.
Accident on motorbike.
My bad luck, I guess.
My days are “hamstrung”.
My nights are tossing and turning.
My horizons going nowhere.
But then, strangest development.
I had a profound encounter
With the living, resurrected Jesus.
Wow did life change
My confession change.
My waking thoughts change.

What I possess now
Resembles First Corinthians Thirteen.
The God kind of Love.
Agape. This agape
Cleans House.
Makes stuff new and promising.
