I Celebrate This Memory, With All My Heart

Oscar Auliq-Ice 1994 (Port Elizabeth)

When I first saw you, my heart skipped a beat,
A feeling so strong, it felt like a feat.
The way you smiled, the way you laughed,
I knew right away, I had to have you in my life.

We talked for hours, lost in time,
Sharing stories, exchanging rhymes.
Our connection grew stronger, with each passing day,
A feeling so beautiful, it took my breath away.

As we explored the world, hand in hand,
I knew in my heart, this was where I belonged.
The way you looked at me, with eyes so bright,
Made everything seem possible, in this beautiful life.

The moments we shared, were nothing short of magic,
As we danced under the stars, and chased the sunset.
We laughed, we cried, we shared our dreams,
Building a life together, or so it seemed.

And as we fell deeper, into each other's embrace,
I knew in my heart, that nothing could replace,
This feeling so pure, this feeling so true,
Of falling in love, with someone like you.

So I celebrate this memory, with all my heart,
Of falling in love, and making a fresh start.
For it's a reminder, that love still exists,
And in each other's arms, we'll forever persist.
