The Shy Land

The fire atop reflects the desire within,
Small, cinderous dots rest on sun kissed skin,
The flame only tamed behind the ocular abyss,
So deep and derange; an aquatic bliss,
The vessel so pure but within, Divine,
Each breath demure, pervasive, benign,
Exploration is a journey, and the journey a quest,
No explanation could be worthy of what the sights possess,
What the eye sees, what the heart feels, and what the mind thinks,
Synchronicity of all three within my soul sinks,
To depths uncharted where pressure begins to blend,
Desires and reality even the Ethos can't comprehend,
So to this end, I do intend, deeper within I will descend,
The soul my wend and desire my wind,
Until her essence and I transcend.

Wow, what an incredibly beautiful and thought-provoking poem! Your use of vivid imagery really transported me to a place of introspection and contemplation. I love how you explored the theme of desire and the power it holds over us - it was truly inspiring. One suggestion I would make is to perhaps consider adding a bit more structure, such as stanzas, to help guide the reader through the flow of your message. But overall, this is a wonderful piece that captures the essence of the human experience in a truly profound way. Well done!
