Up a Mountain (with chris tomlin)

Thinking such images
Early evening after
Violent flu bug.
Music video.

Chris gets into
His old pick-up.
Driving up the elevation.
Thriving conifers.
Then a stretch of fire burnout.
Followed by the peaks.
Running wild horses
Negotiating the trees.
Many colours.
valiant free hearts.

Nobody loves me
Like you love me, Jesus.
And here, now
Things become amazingly
Clear.

I absolutely loved your poem 'Thinking such images Early evening after Violent flu bug. Music video.' It was beautifully written and I found myself transported into the world you created. The imagery you used to describe Chris driving up the elevation and encountering the different landscapes was exceptional. The reference to Jesus towards the end was powerful and added a really lovely layer of depth to the poem.

If I had to suggest an area of improvement, perhaps in future poems you could experiment with different forms of poetry to add some variety. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed your work and can't wait to read more in the future!
