A Sinner's Death

Heed thy sacred song;
In prayer, the sin begone.

On my knees while his blood I shed.
Though light surrounds, the darkness spreads.

Why God must he die?
A sinner’s death, yet still I cry.

His breath, the angels wring.
Unholy life to you they bring.

Shall he see salvation’s light?
Or be blinded by demonic might.

The sounds of a scream cut short by blade,
From a wielder who prays that this soul be saved.

The fading eyes still shock my brain.
His life is gone, but I still remain.

    A poem with some lines that tend to be a bit not so clear in what they really mean or are trying to convey, but the religious aspect of the poem is clear.
    One wishes more clarification in some verses as to what they are really pointing at.
