"Can I be your friend?"

Can I be your friend though I'm far away?
Can I be that one you can always talk to each and every passing day?
I know the times might be rough, I know there are times you cry,
I know many don't understand the pains you feel deep down inside.
I know you feel like you're all alone,
But take a look around you, there are many who also find themselves in that same state and are very cold.
You see, we don't ask for the pains that we some times feel,
We don't pray for them to come and later on asked to be healed.
It's just a stage of life and soon It'll pass away,
It's ok to cry, but don't stay down for so long and forget about yesterday.
Reckon the times you had always smiled,
Recall those blissful memories, the best moments you had in a while,
Let that be the song you hold unto during these tough times,
Keep on walking it won't last forever, it's just a matter of time.

I absolutely loved reading your poem! Your words were so powerful and inspiring - you have a real talent for writing. The positivity and encouragement you shared is something that everyone can benefit from, and I truly appreciate the message you conveyed.

One suggestion I have for you is to consider adding more specific examples or personal anecdotes to your poem to make it even more relatable to your audience. It could help to make your message even more impactful and memorable for those who read it.

Wow, this is a truly beautiful poem! I love the way it reassures the reader that they are not alone in their struggles and that tough times are just a passing phase. The message of holding onto happy memories and not giving up is very inspiring and uplifting.

Regarding improvement suggestions, I would say that perhaps adding more imagery and descriptive language could really bring the poem to life and make it even more engaging for the reader. Also, maybe adding a personal touch or sharing a personal experience could make it even more relatable and heartfelt.

Overall, this poem is a real gem, and I truly enjoyed reading it! Great job!
