Alone

Those times I have spent being alone,
Have meant more to get done.
And with a doing to accomplish.

There are many who seem,
Incapable to enjoy their own company.
Without moaning to complain,
About living their lives...
Remaining the same unchanged.
As if,
Wishing to have...
A blueprint or a map,
Customized to show them the way...
Each step to take that guarantees happiness.
And this progress made successfully achieved.
Yet...
Never to be happy with the results received.
Believing words heard to hear,
About variety being the spice of life.
Although too much of it,
Can numb curiosity into a permanent malaise.

There is something about adventure.
One permits to explore possibilities.
And that becomes difficult to choose and do,
When feeling alone left to exam...
The quality of it to upset an assessing of it.
With no one else
To rely upon their opinion given.

And...
At those times I have been alone,
To welcome and condone what it is I do.
Have meant more to get done.
That would not happen,
If someone else was asked...
For their opinion to give it.
Then...
Making up some ridiculous excuse,
To ask them to leave you alone to meditate!
