Taking ownership of our actions.
With a doing of this to admit,
Our blemishes and flaws.
And mistakes to have made,
Whether consciously or not...
Says a lot about,
The meaning of integrity.

Integrity!
Something done that use to be,
An incentive to acquire.
As well as speaking to anyone,
Honestly.
Giving and receiving,
Respect to expect it.

Today?
In the year of 2021?
To know and show,
These actions to own...
Have left many alone to reflect,
Those times to reminisce them.
Says something about those times.

And...
The people who have aged.

Shocking to horrify...
The ones much younger.
Who disbelief,
There are many still living...
Admitting,
They actually remember...
Days to have lived like that!

Admitting their mistakes.
Without lieing.
Or making accusations,
To place the blame on others!
