Love's Brisk Embrace : The Risk of Love
I knew the risk, but I chose you anyway,
The heart wants what it wants, they say,
And so I followed my heart's desire,
Knowing the stakes were high, the flames of fire,
Would burn me if I got too close,
But I was willing to risk it, I chose
To love you, despite the danger in my choice,
To embrace the uncertainty, to find my voice,
To be the hero of my own story,
To take the leap, to be brave and bold and not worry,
About what the future might bring,
I knew the risk, but I chose to sing
The song of love, the melody of my heart,
The rhythm that kept me going from the start,
I knew that you were worth the risk,
That you would be my one true bliss,
That I would choose you again and again,
And that you would always be my friend
In the journey of life, in the ups and downs,
In the moments of joy and the times of frowns,
You were my constant, my rock, my love,
The one I trusted, the one I thought of,
When I needed strength, when I felt weak,
You were the one who made me speak
Of love, of hope, of all that is true,
Of the power of two, of the me and you,
Of the bond that we shared, the connection so strong,
That even when things went wrong,
We knew that we could overcome,
Because we had each other, and love, and some
Courage to face the challenges ahead,
To walk together, to never dread,
The unknown, the uncharted territory,
To be brave, to write our own story,
To know that the risk was worth it all,
To choose each other, and never fall.
And so we lived our lives, with love as our guide,
Our hearts beating as one, side by side,
Through the trials and the triumphs,
The hardships and the delights,
We faced them all with grace and might,
And every time we faced a risk,
We remembered the love that brought us to this,
That made us choose each other,
That gave us the strength to weather,
All the storms that came our way,
And still, we loved each other every day.
For you were worth the risk,
You still are and always will be,
The one I choose, the one I love,
The one who makes my heart feel free,
And so I'll choose you again and again,
For love is worth the risk, my friend.
And though the future is unknown,
And the road ahead may be rough and overgrown,
I'll take your hand and face it with you,
With love as our guide, we'll make it through,
For I knew the risk, but I chose you anyway,
And I'll choose you every single day.
Our love is like a rose, delicate and sweet,
With thorns that can cut and wounds that weep,
But we tend to it with care and love,
And watch it grow, blossom and shove,
Through the hardships and the pain,
Our love still stands, unbroken and sustained.
Like the moon and the stars, that shine so bright,
Our love illuminates even the darkest night,
With a radiance that cannot be dimmed,
A flame that cannot be trimmed,
And though the journey may be tough,
Our love remains, strong and enough.
For you were worth the risk,
And I'll choose you again and again,
Through every challenge, every test,
Our love will stand, strong and blessed,
For love is worth the risk, my dear,
And you are worth it, year after year.
So let us walk this path together,
Through all the sunny and stormy weather,
For we know that our love will guide us,
And with it, we can conquer and thus,
Embrace the beauty of the unknown,
Knowing that our love has grown,
Into something that's worth the risk,
A love that's pure, a love that's brisk,
A love that's worth the ups and downs,
A love that's worth the smiles and frowns,
For I knew the risk, but I chose you anyway,
And I'll choose you every single day.
And as we walk this path of life,
Hand in hand, as husband and wife,
We'll face the future with hope and faith,
For our love will always pave the way,
Through the highs and lows, the twists and turns,
Our love will shine, and our hearts will burn,
With a passion that's true and strong,
That keeps us going, all day long,
For our love is worth the risk,
A love that's deep, a love that's brisk,
A love that's worth the pain and tears,
A love that's worth the joys and cheers.
And as we grow old, and time goes by,
Our love will still stand, and never die,
For the memories we'll create, the moments we'll share,
Will always be with us, and keep us aware,
Of the love that brought us together,
Of the bond that's strong, that'll last forever,
For I knew the risk, but I chose you anyway,
And I'll choose you every single day,
For our love is worth the risk,
A love that's pure, a love that's brisk,
A love that's worth the trials and tests,
A love that's worth the laughs and jests.
So let us embrace this love of ours,
With all its twists and turns and powers,
For it's a gift that we've been given,
A love that's pure, a love that's driven,
By the passion that we share,
By the love that's real, and so rare.
For I knew the risk, but I chose you anyway,
And I'll choose you every single day,
For our love is worth the risk,
A love that's deep, a love that's brisk,
A love that's worth the sacrifice,
A love that's worth the heart's price.
