PEACE WITHOUT A VOICE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Still, with all these years in my head, I have a lot to learn, like controlling my emotions and not being lit by the flame of the fire that burns deep in my heart; at last, I have taken a stand. I am shaking a lot of heads and hands. I am becoming the voice of the voiceless, but I still ask myself, is there peace of any type if you do not have a voice, and why did it take an eternity to find mine?

I am called a rebel because I speak of the things that no one is brave enough to say. Is today the day I do not rock the boat but sink the whole damn ship?

Something or someone is telling me to keep spinning my words and pumping my fist, for I have a story that needs to be said; ask them to f*ck off if they thank I am continuing to resist their bullshit that I think is injustice.

Peace without a voice or a voice without peace
if you do not speak for yourself, the words of others only fall on deaf ears, for they say what they want to hear.
