My Girl, My Love

Trevor Logan 1986 (CA)

My girl’s got the kindest soul, oh
My girl’s got a heart of gold
She won't ever ask for help though
She'll help everybody else ‘cause
She just wants to love herself like
She loves everybody else, oh
My love’s got a heart of gold
My girl’s got the kindest soul

My girl dances beautifully
She makes all the angels sing
Songs of love and happiness
My love dances with finesse, yes
My girl dances with a kiss
In peaceful calming joyful bliss, oh
She makes all the angels sing
My love dances beautifully

My girl's such a lovely sight
With her touch she brings delight
With her voice she calms my soul
Her flavor's an enchanting dose
Her scent’s a potion for my nose
I love to smell her ramblin’ rose
With one touch she brings delight
My love’s such a love-ly sight

My girl's got fiery eyes
She's got long cool thighs
That wrap around my mind and squeeze my soul
The feeling never gets old
She wears a dark robe
A seductive cloak
Hiding her long cool thighs
My love’s got fire in her eyes

About this poem

These are lyrics meant to be sung. It was originally composed to be spoken, but the spoken version contains noises that do not translate to text and broken rhythms towards the end that do not fit the musical accompaniment. In other words, this poem is meant to be heard, not read.
