I used to Dream

I used to dream of the day I would be a mother.
It was one thing I ever wanted to be. Picking out outfits, first day of school,  going to amusement parks, decorating the house for holidays.
Oh the thoughts and dreams of things we would do, first dances, second chances, baking  cookies , driving lessons, marriages, grandkids.
I had high hopes, fun times, long walks,  camping talks.
I used to dream of the day I would be a mother, all that taken from me.
Silence surrounds me, tears fall all around, however could I left it go so wrong.
The only hope, only dream, only wish I ever had gone in a flash taken faster than a bill needs its cash.
Depression and sadness lives here now. I dream of the day I used to be a mother, the only thing I ever wanted to be.
