grown apart

at moments I let myself go
feeling that she’s growing apart from me,
it hurts to spread the chilling wings of doubt
fill in the vacant spot where she used to reside,

the warmth of imprints of her lips still scar my chest,
the lashes of her beautiful silk hair on my face,
the vibes of her voice,
became hollow, too light to hold down,

I felt the fake touches of an illusion when it came
with seven colored shades of doubt before it reached me...
but nevertheless, I still felt the crazy feelings in me ...

It doesn’t matter what she feels today...
she could change everything another day,
Down the road.

wish how it would’ve been
if she actually met my feelings face to face...
what if she feels me a little late?...
When I'm too numb, feel her?..
after we’ve grown apart
between sleeping & waking up
between going & coming back
between you & me.
