The mystery of the Heavenly

He pierced the fabric of space and time
and entered into the world of mine.
Then contracted Himself to a span
and confined Himself to a man.

He who lives in the eternal now
restricted Himself to time somehow,
and the Creator of the great universe
became a creature just  like one of us.

Such is the great mystery of Godliness
the fullness of Godhead clothed in flesh.
The immortal puts on mortality
so that He could reach a child like me.
