Prophetic Guidance

I want to be successful in what I say or do
Only if that progress glorifies You
You, may savior, Lord Jesus Christ
Help move me away from sin, which I am enticed
Your words so elegant, they help me cope
Through understanding comes calmness, wisdom and hope
Father I realize finally, I cannot work alone
I need You for the wrong I need to atone
My faith grows each day You allow
Your path becoming clearer underneath my brow
There are times I still have doubt in my belief
Confidence in what is not touched, keeps the doubt brief
I now find joy within my spiritual monument
Look back to find right in my wrong intent
Struggle lingers in the balance between good and bad
When we seek to be good, only righteousness is to be had
Each step taken needs to be toward heaven
Surrounded only by our devotional brethren
Please show me the road that I should travel
Lead me to victory Lord, during my internal battle
I require much more than simply my sense
Where what I achieve is centered around your prophetic guidance
