Continue On
To continue on I must, each day I awake
So that I Can prepare for every step I wish to take
Make sure my grateful word is all the more heard
First I thank God, then move each step forward
Less doubt, I leave fate on the fingers of the master guide
The author writing our story as the divine chapters collide
Propelled beyond the original promises I had meant
More faith in the knowledge he will never be absent
Despite any transgression, the kingdom waits above
Strengthened by a relationship rooted deeply in love
I try not to focus or worry on the future He understands
Simply accept that tomorrow is held not in our own hands
Yesterday requires my eyes to look back
I wish to continue on into the light, away from the black
