WE LOVE WHEN WE LEARN

ALLOTEY JOSEPH 2002 (Accra)

WE LEARN WHEN WE LOVE

Love a teacher, so they say
And truly, we learn along the way
To be kind, to give without delay
And see beauty in all, everyday

Forgiveness too, love can import
To let go of anger in our heart
And find peace, a noble work of art
Where understanding plays a vital role

But even when love leave us behind
We learn to heal, and rise, refined
For love leaves a clue, an open mind
Of who we are, and what we can find

So let us love, with all our might
And learn from love, to shine our light
For when we love, we reach new height
And grow in ways, beyond our sight.
