A meeting with God
A MEETING WITH GOD
Ethereal, ineffable being
Whose essence doth transcend
I stood before my countenance
And felt thy cosmic blend
Ineffable thy visage was
Unutterably sublime,
As I beheld thy grandeur,
My soul did softly chime
The aura, and auroral braze
A coruscation divine,
As thy gaze did fall upon me,
My spirit did entwine
When every word thou didst impart
My mind was illuminated,
And thy presence did feel,
My very being sated
Oh creator of all things,
Thy wonder doth astound,
And in that fateful meeting,
My soul did profound bound.
