DOORS AND WINDOWS

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Doors and windows where do they lead us to, destinations or journeys inside of our minds?
the people who came before me were considered madmen and women because of the stories they told of life and the dead with such vivid imagery.

Like a diamond, a snowflake, a raindrop, or your first kiss I am rare, and no longer do I dance inside or outside of the doors and the windows of my family's and world's fears. there is no use calling out my name in the darkness of the night for now and always I am covered in glittering light.

My soul is free after carrying useless weight no longer is it tortured in a waiting moment that will never come and the shell of my body is slowly coming undone carrying with it memories and not dreams through doors and windows which I created while others just followed the blueprint to build what they thought they saw.
