FAMLY LIES

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

TO grow up in the eyes of twilight darkness
is to be awakened by the dusks early light
nothing stands in front of me but the sun and the moon
neither of them is really seen together and neither of them is all alone.
they want me the same as I want myself

The storm is coming closer to its end and so am I
the truth is still unknown to those who do not care
to see the evil that comes from within
how much longer must this go unrecognized one of the most brilliant surprises

This does not matter if it did you would not be acting like this, you would not be telling be trying to cover it up with make up
SHHHHHHH you say enough is enough

Why don't you want to know that the lie they sell is not the truth there is no love behind the smack nor honesty in the words they tell. no you so not need more fiber in your diet they are the ones who are full of shit

They took you as a baby from your rocking cradle, they fed you more than you could handle, still, you say that they love you that they really fucking do is that why everytime you open your mouth you get a black eye beautiful lady do you really want your sons or daughters  to see those family lies
