Elizabeth put kisses two:
One on my lips, one on my cheek.
Elizabeth told me it's true
She's been in love with me for weeks.

And I did jump in happiness
For I have, too, loved her for weeks
But did not dare my love to express.
I thought she mad would strike my cheeks

Surprise at her kissing, for he, too had the same feeling but was afraid to tell it.
