The Waltz

The Waltz

The road is made of glass
The limelight it pulls you in
Should I even ask
Or shall we just begin

The waltz is an easy dance
The movement of the body
If you ever get the chance
Let it move through you to me

Let the beat stir your soul
Let it shake your pounding heart
It grips you and makes you whole
Music is the place to start

Dip into this movement
Twist and turn with the flow
Let the sound stick to you like cement
Can you feel the glow

Stomp out the floorboards
Hop into this sound
Listen to the chords
As your feet slam the ground

Follow my beating heart
Dance this dance with me
The rhythm is the best part
So embrace it slowly

The one thing to notice in this is that it has a perfect rhyme-scheme. Another detail is the invitation to dance that makes dancing an exciting act. No problem with the diction.
