The chain of life

Everything is in a chain in life
A food chain
Where predators dominate the prey
The chain of stress and hatred
I focus on
A workplace to a mother
A mother to a child,
That same child
Gains worries
From school
The pressure
Strong enough to crush a man
That pressure,
From keeping up with grades,
Glancing at grades every minute
Every second there is to spare.
That stress of family and school
Put on life.
My mind works through hundreds of lightbulbs
Working to fill up thousands of watts.
My mind?
Nowhere to vent
Kept to itself.
This chain of life,
I hate.
