A Blessed Marriage

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

A good woman, these days, is hard to find.
She is filled with the Spirit and does not whine.
She respects the man that she has been given.
It’s only by love that she is driven!

How blessed is the man that He’s given her to?
He’s blessed beyond measure and sees it is true.
Because God is the one that has opened his eyes,
Jesus calmed all his fears and answered his cries!

The most blessed of unions that I now speak of,
Is the one that’s created to be centered on Love.
The Lord Jesus is love, for Him there’s no measure.
If your marriage bed’s pure He will be your treasure!
