Karma Knows Her Name

He, a man of courteous demeanour,
Befooled by a deceitful schemer.
Her duplicity, a venomous guise,
Betrayed his trust, and love dies.

Her mendacious words, like venomous vipers,
Struck his innocence with venomous ciphers.
For Karma knows her name, and claims its due,
Her shame forever, a tainted hue.
