Sticky handed Cop.

Doug Blair 1951 (London)

So I made the bust
Heavy dose of coke in the van.
Named a middle man.
Couldn’t get near importers.
Tried though.
Pretty good haul anyway.
Got to file the stash
With Evidence lockup.
But hey listen.
Keeping one quarter of it.
Would keep us liquid
To pump CI’s*
To cut deals for very important leads, names
For bigger arrests.
And what’s the problem
With my keeping a bit?
City has put a freeze on wages
In the detachment.
Last three years.
Who can take that shit?
Who?
I don’t think I will.
Going to the lockup.
Lord, help me with the straight face.
Take a shower right after.
Go home, cook some steaks.
