Glass ceilings

Glass ceilings with no scratches
the Sun of improvement shines through
Windows to the songs played from
Past adventures to new styles of beauty
Daggers twisting made of reflective obsidian
Cast aside from the anger of peoples
Rejected by the earth and Rejected by the people
Angers wrought from progression
Illusions through the desert
The desert of a void acting from the trepidation of
small sips of neverending cups
No wakefulness in sight of the dreams
Shining through the glass ceiling
The glass ceiling with no scars of
Error wrought by invisibility by no fault of
a people shrouded by infinity
With hopes of achieving dreams in front of
Eyes which cannot comprehend the Glass Ceiling
