Today

Today..
I Woke Up Today So I Have A Choice,
To Scream For Those Who Lost There Voice.
I Woke up Today In A Home, Roof Over Head,
So I Can Write For Those Who Don't Have A Bed.
I Woke up Today With My Son & Wife,
To Tell Others They Can Change & Save There Life.
I Woke up Today With A little Thing Called Hope,
Without A Bottle at My At My Side Or Needing A Shot Of Dope.
Too Remind Others They Too Can Cope.
I Woke up Today  With lyrics & A Song,
And A Message That Change is possible
Regardless of What You Have Done Wrong.
I Woke up Today Knowing The Battle Has Just Begun,
That My Demon is CAGED  & I Don't Have Too Hide Or Run.
I Woke Up Today So Many Others Will Not,
And I knew I could Never Give Up, Never Stop.
I Woke Up Today Not As A Problem, But Part of The Solution,
I Will Never Back Down Or Stop What I'm Doing.
I Woke Up Today So I Can Continue This Mission,
And Scream At The Top Of My Lungs Until I Make Them All Listen.
I Woke Up Today & I Am Very Much Alive,
And I Will  Spread This Message Until The Day I Die.
I Woke Up Today, There's A Chance & A Choice,
I Will Be The Change Armed Only With My Pen & My Voice..
DON'T GIVE UP
