To see another year is a blessing. A time to reminisce about all of those who we have lost, as well as the many things we've learned from life's lessons. A moment to give thanks for all that we have seen and done. Most importantly giving thanks for our children. A period to organize our priorities for the future. A chance to plan to do something incredible or super. The season to celebrate you on your special day. An opportunity to appreciate another birthday.

About this poem

My birthday is two days before my son's, and I was just thinking what I would say to him on his birthday being that we rarely get to see each other.
