Christmas feels like Halloween
I'm haunted
how can I replace you
when you're all I've ever wanted
I'm tied with strings of memories any
number of 'sorry's cannot free
it used to be red,
now gray is the place where you used to be
I would apologize over and over again
but that wouldn't relieve the pain
I would do anything to make things fair
but isn't the damage beyond repair?
in a crowded place, walking towards you is the only option I see
but I know, you aren't coming back to me
not after that night
not after that fight

It's a small poem written about losing someone and how that makes a merry festival feel like something that haunts you.
