Tailor of my heart

you were the tailor of my heart
you stitched it when it was broken
you made it seem better than before,
with every word by you that was spoken

you were the tailor of my heart,
you filled the torn parts with your words so sweet
i wish you can read eyes,
cause they'll be filled with gratefulness everytime we meet

you were the tailor of my heart,
and now your name's gonna stay in it forever
whenever there's a storm forming inside,
your presence will be enough to help me weather

you were the tailor of my heart,
and you'll be there as a watermark even if I meet someone new
if anyone finds it pretty, i'm just gonna smile inside
'cause well, all the credit goes to you

you were the tailor of my heart,
you sew a few mere pieces into something whole,
i couldn't be happier than i am when i'm with you
as if it really is something needed by my soul

you were the tailor of my heart,
to a drought, that blissful rain you brought
i'll write a hundred poems but still won't be able to convey
i really really admire you a lot

you were the tailor of my heart,
with you, it began to sing
with you, it felt at home,
with you, easy seemed every single thing

you're the tailor of my heart,
the one that comforts it, you're that friend
you care for me when i felt worthless
and i swear, i'll do it too till the end
