ALTHOUGH YOU'VE JUST ARRIVED

Cornell G. Mack 1955 (Washington DC)

Although you've just arrived in town and I've fallen for your SMILE
I admire the way you carry yourself it blends with your STYLE.
Although you are a little shy I know you'll do the right THING
let me bring out the real thing I'm sure you know what I MEAN
Honesty means a lot to me and this is what I've Expressed
You've arrived just in time my dear how about giving our BEST
Looks you possess I'm sure you're aware I speak only my Mind,
As long as you're here I must confess for you I'll really be TRYING.
I'll give you me a special good time for what more can you ASK
let's live for today and also tomorrow and let's not mention the PAST.
Although you just arrived in town I'm starting to feel ALIVE
I'm really glad you showed up when you did, no longer will I be DEPRIVED.
Patience is a virtue we sometimes forget or store in the back of our MINDS
It's too soon to know if I'm who you want or if you're who I'm trying to FIND
Although you've just arrived in town I know you'll be OkAY
follow your heart and listen to your mind there is no better WAY.
