First Street

Tonight I bring a Valkyrie
the spearess resplendent;
tonight her wings are bound
earthbound beside the walking night
like spirits in negative; polarized
may her goodness cover me
like Sacramental blood
Because blood is what we come to celebrate
Blood, and the adoration of Us.

Tonight I bring great Circe
who holds her enchantment in check
else at her feet as a swine I would root
shining, darling one
may her goodness cover me
like Sacramental wine
Because wine is what we come to celebrate
Wine, and the adoration of Us.

Tonight a Seraph
floats beside me, regal
afire with life abundant
scouring my spirit raw
may her goodness cover me
like Sacramental love
Because love is what we come to celebrate
Love, and the adoration of Us.
