Gone

Someone close to me is no more
The first time to experience a loss in my adult life.
How was the sister feeling?
How was the mother feeling?
How was the kind father fairing?
How was the baby fairing?

Questions that linger on my mind.
Was I supportive enough?
Did I at least help reduce the hurt?
I know I will never fill in the void.
But did I console the living?

So young.
I felt the pain when the sister narrated.
Saw the pain in the dad's Eyes.
Felt the shatter in the mother's hug.
A life is no more!
A young one is no more.
A young life did grow old !
