THE KISS OF FIRE LAYED UPON MY LIPS

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Oh, the ancestors are speaking to me, or call them my Guardian Angels they are whispering in my head, in my ears you came this far without knowing what you know now so put on those tattered wings and see this through the nights stars will light your way and your lips will be kissed by the kiss of fire that comes from the burning skies that are now calling your name to reach deep inside of their darkness and deep inside of your heart.

Oh allow yourself to be kissed by the flames of the fire
do not allow them to kill the fight that comes from within you need to finish what it is that they started, oh they fuel the fire which kisses your lips and the smoke that now is inside the blood that runs through your veins do not let their water tame all that they care to put out. the kiss of fire laid upon my lids illuminated the part of the skies that never shine
