Survival

While merest thoughts cross my mind
Awry feelings pour;  can't bear the grind!
Daylight is blinding, despondency is here...
Can't stop the pain, can't steer the tear!

Overloaded,my train of thoughts derailed;
Soul's deep, burning wounds show I failed.
To feel alive; to wake content I aspire;
To destroy the fire in my soul, I dream, I desire.

While failing, for better I cease to hope.
With life's dark moments I try to cope.
Breathing effortlessly; I feel dead inside:
Im actively going down in a landslide.
