The Fiftieth (partnership grows)

Douglas Blair 1951 (London)

Ask of me OK?

And largely.

Fathers love to give.

To lighten the load.

And you remember

My largesse

My rescues.

You are thankful

In all honesty.

Not like many I see

Who live right down

Your street.

Unappreciative.

Flippant.

Slander and lies.

Waiting to do harm.

Distracted.

And this they do

In the face of Almighty.

The Creator and Sustainer.

They have no shame.

They will inherit my wrath.

Terrible as it will be.

But you Child are growing

In the Love Response.

Keep calling, that

I might answer.

In this you approach

My Heart and Agenda.

Your prayers give me pleasure.

Even if sometimes you

Just sit and soak and smile.

My whispers are beginning

To point to large measures

In redemptive purpose

For other reverent, searching ones.

You partner in this.

Beyond your wildest dreams.

Listen and move forward.

(Now read Psalm 50 in the KJV and Philippians 4)
