Babysitters for an Architect

Douglas Blair 1951 (London)

We took their Son for an afternoon.
No socials skills had he
But Lego kit, the breadth of it.
A stunning show for free.
The reds his special choice
Offset by gold and blue
Supports for rooftop
Blew our minds, what
Three year olds might do.
Now had the Dad been coach?
Nope couldn’t find such skill.
Just take a boy with simple toy
To fashion strength of will.
