If You’re Lonely

If you’re lonely, maybe you can be my friend
If you’re lonely, maybe you can be my friend
Until the very, very end
We can play pretend

I went for a walk just the other day
And a smile past me by
I could see they were lonely just like me
So we stopped and talked for a while

“Where are you from?”  the stranger asked
I said “I’m from down the road”
Why haven’t I seen you around?
I said left home long ago

Lets play a game that we both know
Doesn't matter which of us wins
Lets go to all the places we can go
When we end we can just start again

Tell me all your dreams and i’ll tell you mine
We’ll help each other reach them if we can
We can either make the most of our time
Or we can live life without a plan.

Hey nice to meet you, What’s your name?
Where are you from? What makes you happy when you’re alone?
How do you feel at the end of the day
When everybody’s gone home?
